Approved by and for kids

 

Museums too boring for children?  

Think again! Our museum has been officially approved by and for children. So we'd love nothing more than to pamper you and your little treasures, and we hope you'll soon feel at ease during your visit.  

Have you spotted the blue spot elsewhere too? That means spills are allowed there too! More than 20 museums have already been approved by and for children. Curious to find out more?

Practical information

1. Prams

The Museum is accessible with a pram, with the exception of the mezzanines in the Aviation Hall, the Arcades and the panoramic terraces. 

Would you prefer to leave your pram at the entrance? Ask our reception staff! 

2. Accessibility for disabled people

3. Changing table 

A changing table has been installed in the toilets for people with reduced mobility. 

4. Lockers

Lockers are available free of charge at the reception. You can leave your bags, umbrellas, backpack, etc. there. 

Rucksacks are not allowed in the museum.  

5. Drinking and relaxing

Looking for a break? Sky Café is open from 10am to 4pm. Discover the menu. Picnics are not permitted. 

Feeling thirsty? There's a drinks dispenser just outside Gallery '14-'18

There are benches in several of the museum's galleries, so you can take a short break.
